Find a lead.

The two of you continue through the alleys until you see the main road up ahead. You tell Eva to say put for now, which she gladly agrees to. At such close proximity to everyone, she looks absolutely flustered.

"I'll be back with information as quickly as I can," you assure her.

"Please do..."

After exiting, you flag down a gnome with well-groomed black hair and what looks to be expensive attire--though you wonder if clothing so small is actually much cheaper, even for a suit. It looks as if he's waiting for something--standing by the road, eyeing the street up and down.

"Excuse me," you say. "Have you seen an elf girl around here? She has blond hair and a white dress. Carries a silver staff. I'm also looking for a sunheart with short black hair. Carries a mace and a buckler. They might be together."

He looks up to you. "Oh yes. I just spoke to a girl that matches that first description minutes ago. I'm afraid I don't know about the other, unfortunately."

"What direction did she go?"

"If you're looking for your friend, you're in luck! She's actually just at the massage parlour I work for, a block that way," he says and points ahead. "Lovely girl, she was. Makes me wish I was a masseuse, and not just a businessman."

"Thanks. I'll just--"

"I wouldn't mind giving her a rub-down," he mutters.

"Gonna just go now. You enjoy your fantasies."

"Only joking, good sir! Enjoy yourself."

"I don't know if I'm really here for a massage. I just want to find my friend."

"Whatever you prefer," he says. "But we have plenty of lovely ladies with very talented hands."

The fact that people keep calling me a pervert when everyone in this world seems to be more of one than me, is starting to drive me insane.

You hurry back down the alley and find Eva cowering being a barrel.

"Eva?" you grab her attention. "She's apparently at a massage parlour nearby. Now that I know where it is, maybe we can go in through the back. There might be something for you to throw on, like a towel or something. It could work. Just let me peek in first. Worst case scenario, it's a little awkward, and I go through the front instead."

She nods. "Let's do our best."
