Fight alongside William.

His movements are eerily similar to your own. He strafes to the left while you move to the right in an attempt to pincer the Demon King between your attacks. With a slide of your hand down the flat of your blade you utter the words, "Flare Blade," and form a rising flame to the tip of your pink glowing sword. You slash a burning strike across your opponent's thigh, and as you do, you peer beyond to see William's weapon ablaze as well. The two of you land your attacks at nearly the same moment.

But after that, William leaps back and holds up his ring-covered hand and one sparks with light. "Explosion!" he shouts. There's a crackle of energy in front of the Demon King's face, and it's followed by a crackle before a sudden explosion causes the ceiling above to shake.

The Demon King reels back from the relentless **** and begins to wildly sweep his giant blade around him. It shatters a nearby column, and the debris collides down against the floor directly beside you. It doesn't look like you've done a lot of damage, but there's dust in the air, and Sa'dis looks like he's struggling to react to it all. As he moves, his golden necklace swings along his chest like a pendulum.

"Flare Bolt!" William shouts. A bullet of flames blankets the side of monster's head. "We can't keep this up forever, Kyle."

Sa'dis responds with a swing of his foot. Though it crashes right into William, a sudden ward of energy appears from another one of his rings. It takes most of the blow, though the man is still sent soaring backwards through the air. He lands on his feet, pressed up against a farther column.

Meanwhile, you strike out rapidly on the back of the Demon King's legs, over and over again until the fire on your weapon slowly fades. "I know that!"

A Magic Bolt smacks Sa'dis in the face and he takes a step backwards. You turn to see Eva on her own across the room. Then, you spot Niki sprinting into battle. You glance around further, and notice that Amara is digging through the rubble where both Snow and Dajy landed.

You take a deep breath. Quickly, you sprint over to the Demon King's throne and use it to vault up the wall as high as you can make it. You slap your hand against the stone and whisper, "Entangle," before tumbling back down again. Then you leap towards the backs of his ankles, and strike out against his nearly impenetrable flesh. It's enough. At the same time, Niki slams her shield into his gut and it causes him to begin stumbling backwards. You're nearly crushed, but you manage to roll out of the way of his giant feet.

Sa'dis falls back against the wall, and then you trigger the trap, causing blue tendrils to wrap around his neck and arms from behind. You already know it won't do much to hold him, but it only needs to keep him still for a moment.

You and William stand beside one another again, now back in front of him. He gives you a look--perhaps impressed--and glances back to the Demon King with his finger pushing up his glasses. Behind you, Amara and Snow now stand.

The catfolk ninja perches on some fallen rocks with one foot up and her bow in the air. A radiant golden arrow is nocked, and she pulls back the drawstring. As she does, it illuminates like a beacon. You try to turn back to see, but you're blinded by the light. She stares forwards, locks her eyes onto her target, and as she releases her fingers, the divine weapon soars.

It pierces through the air like a bolt of lightning. Sa'dis is much too busy tearing free from the wall, and he may not even know what the weapon truly is. To him, an arrow is nothing after all. As he shatters your spell to bits and begins to rise up, the PEG collides directly with the center of the red gemstone within his golden necklace. It sticks, and the light glows brighter. Even the Demon King can do nothing but shield his eyes. You raise your arm up over your brow, and the room soon becomes nothing but white.

A wave of energy knocks you backwards. Slowly, the radiance fades. You blink several times over until your eyes adjust, and look forwards to no longer see a giant looming figure ahead.

Sa'dis stands back at his original height. The necklace around him begins crumbling piece by piece, until it blows away like a cloud of dust. His eyes widen. He pats over where his precious item once was, but there's nothing there but his bare grey skin. Even his weapon is now too large to be wielded in a single hand.
