Father (You)

You let Luke walk away. The new house is quite spacious and your stuff is already unpacked. The house looks like something out of an old magazine, white picket fence and everything. Inside it’s similar. Aside from the technological advancements of the modern era all the appliances look straight out of the 50’s.

You checkout your room. The master bedroom had a king sized bed. Not that you’d be using it often. Your wife dying still keeps you awake. When you look at Luke sometimes you still see her.

Then comes the knock on the door and you are awaken from your thoughts for the moment.
