Fall back and strategize

Noah, Owen, and Izzy continue through the left door. You are pulled back by Heather before you follow the trio of misfits. “Don’t follow them. Owen and Izzy have tendency to make major fuck ups along the way. I’m going right, if you want to win.” She stared at you for a minute and then walked to the right. You were familiar with her tactics, but she was right. You followed her path at a similar pace. She glanced back at you and returned her gaze to the tunnel. The sand on the floor got deeper. Your feet were nearly submerged in the sand.

“Heather, watch out here. I think there might be-” You were cut off by a scream. You turned to Heather, who appeared to be stuck in quicksand.

“Malcom! Help! Pull me out!”

“With what? If I use my arms, I’ll be pulled in too!”

“Is there a rope anywhere? Or a stick?”

“No. Nothing.” You looked for anything at all. She was now waist deep in the quicksand. You thought quick. “Pull off your shirt!”

“What? No! I’m not showing you my boobs!”

“I’m going to use it to pull you out! You’ve got nothing to lose if you’re wearing a bra!”

She struggled for a bit before she realized how deep she was. She raised her arms. “Here! Take it!” She held out her shirt with one hand as the other held her chest.

“You’re not wearing one?! Jeez, I thought you would’ve learned from that moment in season 1.” You took the shirt and pulled. She slid, front on the floor, as you pulled her out. She stood up and hugged you before you could react. Heather shoved away with a very noticeable blush on her face.

“We-we won’t talk about this.” You threw her the shirt. As she put it on, you pointed out that her shoes and any other clothes below the stomach her missing. “Dammit! We also won’t talk about the fact that I hugged you naked.”

“I hate to tell you this, but we’re still on live television. Chris hides his cameras everywhere. And if they do find out you hugged me, they’ll know it was naked. You can’t walk out of here with pants.”
