Face the Witch

You decide to go for the witch. You're fully trained- surely you can handle a one on one fight? You take the right hallway, coming around the turn full-speed, but the sight that greets you stops you suddenly in your tracks.

It's Fortuna- the Witch you befriended earlier, and the two of you see each other at the same time. She offers a brief nod and wave without a word, and continues patrolling, assumingly searching for who she doesn't know to be you.

Your suspicions are confirmed as her march slows to a pause, followed by a slow turn towards you. Her expression gives it away- equal parts mad and surprised, her arms slump by her sides in what you imagine to be disappointment in herself

She looks you up and down, seemingly confirming your identity to herself. You open your mouth to say anything, try to appeal to anything, but she raises a hand to stop you as she closes her eyes and shakes her head slowly.

"I didn't see you. But go on. Get out of here, and don't you dare come back, or I'll deliver you to Mother myself." She crosses her arms, eyes still closed, head looking down in disappointment. She continues to shake her head, now muttering bitterly to herself.

Guilty conscience outweighing your very survival instincts, you step up to her and wrap her in a hug as thanks. She doesn't return the favor, but her face does drop the bitter expression. She opens her eyes and mouth to say something, but instead her jaw drops in fear, looking over your shoulder.

You break the hug and turn around- the two of you are cornered now by three demons. Towering over you, they all laugh through their noses, eyeing the two of you up.

Fortuna stands protectively in front of you, arms out to create distance. "Demons. Be on your way and I will see that each of you is rewarded double for a week." She speaks full of confidence, clearly satisfied with her own solution, until one of the demons speaks.

"How funny for you to be the one making demands, Fortuna." It eyes her up and down as her brow furrows slightly in frustration. "We've all had every witch in the place- every single one except for you and Mother." The demons all step forward slowly, continuing their inhuman cackling as their leader speaks.

"But for this one's head on a platter, Mother has offered herself... we could be the very first to take her." A snake-like tongue flicks from the Demon's mouth and wets its lips as it continues to edge closer. "But we would be willing to let your friend go... for an equal reward."

You turn to Fortuna to see that she has paled. Her mouth is agape and her eyes distracted. You try to think of something to say, but she beats you to it, turning to address you in a hush.

"Mother cast aside everything we believe in. All of our values, and independence, just for the loyalty of these common demons." She casts a sneer in their direction as she names them, and they laugh again, clearly happy to be so hated.

"The Amulet she wears- that's her weakness. That is what has the demons bound. Get it, and their loyalty falls to you." She turns away from you, facing the Demons, and sighs. "Now get out of here. And if we're still friends when all is said and done, don't you ever dare bring this up."

Fortuna, with a face of pure disgust, slowly drops to her knees as the demons cackle, and their cocks emerge.

"Thank you." You offer meekly before pulling up your hood and heading back to the throne room. Friend or not, she was a witch, and you had a job to do.

You turn around one last time before heading out of sight. The prideful and prim, too good for anyone witch you met- the black haired Fortuna- now on her knees, where she will remain until she has sucked off three monster cocks. You can't help but feel as though she got what was coming to her, as you see, in the last moment, the demon grab hold of her head.

You both have your work cut out for you, now. It's time to get that amulet.
