Exploring the cabin

Lance leads you up the stairs to the cabin, then bends down to lift the floor mat where you picks up a door key. A second later, the door is open and he's stepping inside.

"Welcome to your new home," He says, handing you the key. Then gestures further into the house.

"As you can see, most of the windows are boarded up for safety, just a few of the smaller ones have been left open, mostly for light, and all of those have heavy drapes that can be pulled into place." He leads you into the main part of the little cabin, a small living room with a wood stove acts as a hub for the rest of the house. You can see a tiny kitchen and dining area to one side, directly above it is what appears to be a little sleeping area.

Gesturing towards the other side of the little cabin, he shows you a regular bedroom and a bathroom, "The water all runs off a well or something, because all the plumbing seems to still be working. The showers will be cold, but at least the toilet will still flush."

Wandering back to the lifing room, he pulls back the area rug dominating the floor, "Got enough provisions I figured it would keep me and Rei for at least a month, for just you, it will last at least two, maybe three if you're careful with it. I'd suggest doing a little scavenging for supplies every couple of days to keep things from dwindling too much." Underneath thr rug, you can see a ring, when Lance pulls at it, a section of the floor pops loose, revealing a ladder leading down into another space. "There's a small generator down there, but I wouldnt use it if I could help it, too much chance it will draw attention."

"There are a few books and a deck of cards in the clothset," He gestures towards the little clothset door beside the front door.

"Keep a list of anything you need, next time I'm through I'll add it to my list of things to watch for. Also, if you find more than you can use, let us know, we'll make a trade of it or something."
