Expansion plans.

When you wake up, Aisha is still asleep atop you, but there’s definitely someone beside you as well. You open your eyes and turn your head, looking right into Naia’s big blue eyes. She grins at you, and winks. “Having a little naked fun with my sister? You should have waited for me!”

Aisha stirs, but keeps her eyes closed, even as she speaks. “Your fault, sis. You went exploring with Lylah.”

Naia puts on a fake pout. “But now someone’s here and I can’t take advantage of naked Greg!”

You chuckle. “I’ll make it up to you later, Naia.”

She nods. “Yes you will! Now you should probably get dressed, the builders are here. Lylah is talking to them right now.”

Aisha slides off you, giving you a kiss as you get up. Naia gives you a playful slap on the butt and giggles. You roll your eyes and get dressed, before heading downstairs, where you find Lylah speaking with a pair of dwarves, one man and one woman.

All three smile as you approach. Lylah chuckles. “I see Naia was able to pry you out of bed!”

You grin. “It took some doing, but yes. Hello, I’m Greg.”

The male dwarf nods. “I figured. Helja told us about you. I’m Rex, and this is Pell. We’re the surveyors to figure out how to build what you want.”

You shake their hands. “Well, I know we need probably four bedrooms, and adding a bathroom would be ideal.”

They nod, and Pell speaks up. “Shouldn’t be too hard, you’re backed right up against the face wall, so we can just dig it out and shape it as needed. Shouldn’t take more than a few days.”

You look at them in surprise. “That fast?”

Rex laughs. “Sometimes the stereotype is truth. We dig and construct buildings very quickly. Plus, Helja and Hayley speak highly of you. That means you get special attention!”

You laugh. “So, what do we need to do?”

Pell shrugs. “You? Nothing. Our builders will start tomorrow. Other than a bit of dirt and noise, we shouldn’t bother the rest of the house.”

You smile, shaking your head. “Seems simple enough.”

Rex nods. “Just be good to those girls!”

Lylah laughs. “Don’t worry, we’ll keep him in check. He wouldn’t dare get out of line.”

All three of them laugh, and you roll your eyes.
