Everything's stopped!

At first, I don't see anything out of the ordinary until I spot the fountain;a few minutes ago, it had been cascading merrily but now.. now the water is hanging, like a curtain.

I then notice something else;all the people have stopped too! To my left, a couple of businesswomen who'd been having coffee together are as still as statues. The first is staring at her watch and her friend is holding her cup to her lips.

Across from me, behind the curtain of water, I spot a young mother and her two children, frozen mid walk and to my right, in the Burger Bar, a waitress is frozen in the middle of wiping down a table.
