You had just about given up hope that Shay would contact you again, and you had also been doing a good job of avoiding her on the set, but the constant rumors about who knocked her up always made you feel like a target.

Until Shay finally broke the ice with you again by calling you to her trailer.

"John, I know what I said, but I'm tired of running from this pregnancy baby. Which means I'm tired of running from you. So let's make a pact to handle this, and anything that comes from it, together, from here on out," she tells you, looking around the perimeter of her trailer and closes the door.

"You have to believe me when I tell you the last thing I wanted was for this to happen Shay," you tell her, Shay kissing you and whispering the words "I know" as she sits down on the couch in her trailer.

"I guess I need to apologize, too John. Cause I feel like I unfairly blamed you and it takes two people being irresponsible to make a baby," she tells you as you lean in and kiss her, telling her to worry about going public with it later.

"Why don't you and I be irresponsible again right here in the place that started it all Shay," you whisper to her, your hand touching her stomach as you climb on top of her.
