Escape!

Hearing your footsteps, and the environment around you, you ran as quickly as you could. Your heart was beating that it was almost vibrating... As you trampled through the wilderness, you remembered that you can't use Flash's speed yet, in fear you might really hurt yourself. ... If the Leaguer girls don't hurt you first.

You looked behind as you saw them coming after you, either by flying through the air or running on the ground. Vixen kinda stood out by being the sole person to run on all fours; because you fearfully watched them charge at you, you turned your head a second too late and bashed it into a thick enough branch, making your legs swing in front of you a bit and started sliding on your butt down a hill. You quickly went from that to tumbling down, involuntarily grunting until you landed at the bottom with a thud.

You laid there in a daze, groaning quietly from the pain. You also looked up and saw that they were still coming after you! Groaning softly, you slowly turned on your side and pushed off the ground, standing up once more. You had to get out of there! But Vixen caught up with you, cutting you off and then used her Mule Kick to drive you backward right into Wonder Woman's grasp.

Her arms restraining you felt like an elephant's trunk!

"Mari..." you strained to say. "Diana, please. Sna-a-ap out of it. Your minds are be-e-ing controlled. It's me... Shadow..." You couldn't tell, but Diana blinked when she heard your voice again. But before you could say any more, Hawkgirl arrived with the gorilla right behind her!
