Erika the Fennec Fox-Girl

As the clerk directed you back to the fox-girl you took a moment to admire her sandy pixie cut bellow the giant yellow fox ears. The yellow tinge to her fur and the blue and black eyeliner. Made you think of an Egyptian queen, like Cleopatra.

You didn't really know how to approach her as last time seemed to go horribly. You could see her from her side but you could tell she hadn't noticed you yet.

Instead of yanking at her tail which seemed like bizarrely stupid way to greet a girl, you called out to her.

"Your name is Erika isn't it?"

She nodded slowly flicking her pretty ears to get off the sand.

You hadn't heard her say a word. You wondered if she even did speak. Lets continue anyway.

"Would you like to have an owner?" You asked reaching out your hand towards the blonde to gauge her reaction. You felt a tiny muzzle nuzzle into your palm. So she was friendly you thought.

"Can you talk?"

"YesbutIdon'tliketo." She said in a flash.

"Ah ok." You smiled warmly and she let you pick her up bridal style. You in turn nuzzled her warm cheek and set about finding the clerk to retrieve a collar.
