Erica is wearing a cute plaid skirt, white blouse and black shoes

"You look pretty today," Alicia says as she gets in the car and looks over at Erica in her short plaid skirt, blouse, and open-toed shoes.

Erica is shy and self-conscious, and only mumbles, "Oh, thanks. I really just got dressed. Didn't plan on leaving the house so soon."

When she sits down in the passenger seat, Erica notices that her slender legs are very exposed. She had not expected on meeting Alicia's cousin this morning. Absently, the nineteen-year-old girl fidgets and teases the ends of her shoulder-length brown hair, and touches her knee.

Alicia grins seeing her friend's discomfort and says, "No, really, Erica you look nice. I'm sure the boys will be happy to see you."

"Boys?" Erica turns nervously toward her frind driving the car. "What other boys?"

"Oh, just Jimmy's other classmates returning from the trip, I would imagine," Alicia explains.

Folding her arms, Erica whines, "I would rather have thrown on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt before going out in public."

As Alicia continues down the road, she simply giggles, "You're cute."

Blushing the entire trip, Erica lazily watches other cars drive by, and soon the girls pull into the airport entrance. Alicia has to follow the signs, looking for the terminal for arrivals, and finds a place to park. Then she gets out and comes around to open the passenger side door for Erica.

"Let's go," she says.

Erica bashfully steps out of the car. Fussing with the hem of her skirt, she and her friend make their way through the lot and to the terminal. The airport seems busy for a Saturday morning. Once they get inside, there are crowds of people in every direction. Alicia tries to look for a directory, to see waht gate Jimmy will be arriving at.

"We should split up," Alicia tells Erica. "Either you can go to wait over by the baggage claim area, or you can stop by the gift shop. Maybe the boys already landed."

Erica rolls her eyes, not looking forward to meeting Alicia's cousin, but then decides where she should go.
