Erica earned enough to buy back her shirt.

Somehow, Erica was able to win the next few rounds. Her pile of chips was growing nicely. She would be able to get her shirt back at this rate!

"Whoo! Look at Erica go!" Carrie cheered.

Erica grinned. It didn't matter that she was losing some hands. Her fortune had turned and she was trending up. When it looked like she had earned back the amount of chips that Carrie had provided for her shirt, Erica decided it was time to stop playing and get her shirt back.

"Hey, Carrie. How many chips did you give me?" she asked.

Carrie shrugged in response. "I don't know."

Erica gathered together some chips that looked to have been more than what Carrie had initially given for her shirt. "Here," she said as she slid the chips across the table to Carrie.

Carrie looked at her, confused. "Thanks," she said as she accepted the offering of chips.

Erica waited for her to return the shirt, but Carrie just turned her attention back to the game, waiting for Lisa to deal the cards. "Carrie," she said, trying to get her attention.

"What?"

"Aren't you going to give me my shirt back?"
