It’s your third attempt at being a supervillain, and you once again find yourself standing in an alleyway with your pulse racing. This time, though, it’s not just nerves from thinking about robbing a bank. After your second defeat (which also didn’t count) you decided that the best way to pull off a bank heist was to go somewhere that definitely won’t have any heroes. Obviously that would be the most run down, seediest part of town. If there were an active superhero around, they’d keep any bad stuff from happening, right?

It turns out that may not have been the best idea. There’s certainly crime galore, because you almost got mugged on your way here! An awful man held a knife at you and demanded all your money and personal belongings. It was almost as scary as Lady Cinder nearly burning you alive, and you wound up completely forgetting you had superpowers. You were sure he was going to stab you when you told him you didn’t have anything. Where would you store it in your costume anyway? There are no pockets! Fortunately he just walked away, mumbling something about prostitutes.

You’re quickly regretting your decision to come here, especially while dressed in your skimpy supervillain uniform. After numerous catcalls and gropes from men and women alike, you’ve finally made it to the alley beside a bank. But this place is terrifying! And there are two big, bulky men posted outside the bank, undoubtedly to stop people from robbing it! Can you even do this!?

Before you can finish wrestling with your fears of getting shanked, history repeats itself and a figure appears at the opposite end of the alley.
