Enter the Temple

You are here, and you are ready.

With a relaxed sense of confidence you push open the double doors of the temple.

As you step inside, you immediately notice the the contrast to the outside village. The temple is brightly illuminated with a multitude of candles and lanterns lined on both sides of the beautiful room.

Closing the doors behind you, the extravagant red carpet leads you to follow the path to the center of the room, where a familiar figure waits.

As you finish your approach, the shrine mahatma greets you with a bow.

She is a graceful woman with a mature beauty. White hair flows behind her and around her aged face. She wears the normal white and gold robes of the shine mahatma: a long, flowery set of robes, cut low enough in the front to reveal the mahatma's belly button, with wide sleeves decorated in gold embroidery. The hem of the robes are long enough to touch the floor, and a side cut on each side reveal a hint of each of the woman's legs up to her hip.

You stop in front of the shrine mahatma and return her bow. Hanging your head low, you await the approval of the priestess and in turn, feel her hand lightly rest on the back of your head. Then, she speaks...

"Welcome, my child. I am pleased to see you have found your way to me on this most special night. Let me see you."

You lift your head slowly and face the mahatma. As your eyes meet, you briefly admire the bright gold color of her eyes. She offers you a small smile before continuing to address you.

"Clean, handsome... and relaxed... good. No doubt the work of a capable woman, hohohoho" The mahatma laughs breathily.

"Tonight, you will take part in the holy rite that every young person in this village has completed. Under the light of the full moon, the symbol of our goddess's full power, and in this most holy place, you will become a man by receiving the love of our goddess through her avatar!"

As she speaks, the mahatma reaches up and cups your face with gently with both hands.

"Be naught afraid, but rejoice! For the goddess who created love is here with us now, and ready to transform you with the power of her embrace. This night belongs to the glory of your union with our goddess. Go forth and confirm your blessing!"

As the mahatma finishes, she releases your face and turns aside slightly. She gestures toward the back of the temple room, to a small set of doors. You have no idea what is beyond those doors, having only ever been allowed in the main temple room.

You look around... the doors further into the temple lie some distance in front of you. The shrine mahatma waits just to your left, looking at you earnestly.
