Enjoy that You're in the Kitchen

Eve realizes it's a good time to get some food, as returning later would be dangerous. While looking for some food a girl named Hana enters the kitchen.

"Did you come to get food too?" Hana asks as she opens the closet.

"It wasn't the original plan, but yeah..." Eve said as she picked up a small package of cookies.

Hana grabbed some loaves of bread, closed the cupboard, and then began to notice Eve's appearance.

"Now that I notice, by any chance you?..." Hana asked.

"Yes..." says Eve

"So apparently the effects are manifesting as we come into contact with these things... Hmm..." Hana said in a low voice.

That seemed insensitive to Eve, but she didn't much care.

"And this is just the first day..." Eve said.

Before Hana could answer, they heard a voice getting closer and closer.

"What's that noise huh?~"

"Mary..." said Eve.

"Get down" Hana said pulling Eve to the floor behind a table.

"Mary? So she was the one who turned so early?" whispered Hana.

"Yes..." said Eve.

"I'm going to call her Marynne?... Or something like that, for now that's the name" Said Hana carefree.

"It's no use hiding... I can feel your presence hihihih" Said Marynne laughing.

"Leave it to me" Hana said, Hana took a piece of bread, waited until Marynne looked the other way, and threw the bread in the direction of the dining room.

"Did you come back to this place again? I can't stand going in circles anymore!" Said Marynne.

Eve and Hana waited a little longer.

"Obviously she's not that smart anymore, she's gone... It's our time to get out of here soon." Said Hana after getting up.

"Thank you" Eve said after getting up.

Hana walked away, Eve stood there thinking about the skill her competition had. If she couldn't adapt, she might be just like Mary.
