As Emily inspected the necklace, she realized that it must be pretty valuable, and that whoever owned the necklace would likely be worried that they lost it. Being the responsible adult she is, Emily decided to turn it in at the lifeguard station. This would also give her an excuse to talk to a lifeguard. The male lifeguards tend to be pretty hot, so if she can meet one or get introduced to one, she could start her search for a boyfriend expediently.
