Emergency surgery

After the nitrous oxide takes effect Mac pulls a sterile scalpel from his breast pocket and immediately unwraps it. Once it is unwrapped he immediately begins making the first incisions to enlarge the entrance wound from the bullet in order to allow extraction. As he increases the size of the wound he takes notice in his head that he has increased the size of the wound enough and shouts "forceps" when he receives them from the nurse he sticks them in the wound to remove the bullet as he meets resistance with his forceps he clamps them shut and removes them from the wound. Now that the deformed chunk of lead was dealt with, he grabs a bovie pencil to seal up the blood vessels whilst also sterilizing anything it comes in contact with, as he finishes with the bovie pencil he makes note to use breathable gauze or this will get infected due to sweat in the dry desert heat, and then begins closing up the wound as he has done all he can.
