Embrace a new Lord

Diana looked down at the Bible that helped her realize the lies she had been born into.

Sinful lies meant to turn her soul away from The Lord.

She turned and saw on the altar of the church her usual outfit. The magic lasso, bracelets and tiara.

She walked over to them, clutching the Bible close to her heart, between her breasts.

The gifts from the gods to aid her on her mission were right in front of her.

But they were lies. Rather than gifts from gods they were traps from the devils of hell.

She tossed them off of the Altar and prostrated herself before the Cross.

“Lord.” She began. “Forgive your servant for her years of blasphemy. Tell me what need be done to save my eternal soul and redeem my past.”

She heard the flipping of paper and looked up. The Bible had fallen into the floor and opened up to a new page.
