Yes, it was her boyfriend, Duncan that was stressing her out. He was perfect, but there was something up, or at least she thought there was.

He'd been spending so much time with Maeve over the past 2 months, and less and less time with her. It wasn't that she was getting jealous, or anything, no, Maeve was one of the nicest people around, and she had such a nice voice, not just a singing voic3, but a soothing voice.

She was worried they were drifting farther apart. She tried thinking about Taylor, her best friend, but it always kept coming back to Maeve's beautiful face. Those green eyes that could be stealing her boyfriends heart, that red lipstick that could be staining his lips...

She knew she had to talk to Duncan about this, but she was afraid. She'd always been afraid of talking to boys, and this included her boyfriend. You'd think that by being the hottest girl around, boys would want to talk to you a lot and they do, but she felt comfortable talking to Luke, Andrew, Will, Slava, Eric, Jonah, Evan...

But she had feelings for Duncan, and she was still afraid of talking to him. Maybe that was why he was spending more time with Maeve.
