Driving to the bunker

By now you were adjusted to the howling noise of the sirens, so you decided to switch the radio on to get more information. You weren't surprised that only the emergency radio broadcast was available. The pre-recorded radio message said that a large amount of missiles would impact areas all across the country in the next 30 minutes. As you were listening to the same message, you looked around and saw the shock in everyone's faces. Zoe was focused on the road ahead, but you knew her well enough to see that she was scared out of her mind. Looking at the rear-view mirror, you could see your cousins hugging each other while trying not to cry.

The road to the farm was very busy, there was panic everywhere, cars honking, people screaming. You could see people fighting with each other trying to get into the buildings that offered more protection. At this point, you were happy that you were heading to a freaking underground bunker. Once you left the town, you started driving a lot faster, because you didn't know how much time was left, and you also wanted to make sure that nobody was following you.
