Drinks

The two enter Petra's house, where Michael is waiting on the couch, watching a movie that he pauses. "Hey guys."

"Hey. So Michael, this is Tom."

"Pleasure to meet you."

The two shake hands, before Tom sits down.

"Can I get you two anything?" Petra ask.

Michael looks to Tom. "Beer?"

"Sure."

"I'll go get them." Petra says.

"Thanks honey." Mike then turns to Tom. "So how was your flight?"

"Yeah, pretty smooth."

"Good to hear. So, got any plans?"

"Uhh, not really, just going with the flow."

"Fair enough."

"So, are you American yourself?"

"Yeah I'm from America. Petra and I met in high school during a student exchange program."

"Ah cool. So you moved over here?"

"We spent our honeymoon here and decided it was such a beautiful place to live."

"I'd certainly understand."

Petra comes back with three beers and the trio continue with their small talk. Once his beer is finished, Tom says "You know, I'm feeling pretty tired. Think I might take a shower and go to bed."

"Sure, shall I show you the way there?"

"Sounds good to me."

The two stand up. Petra then gives her husband a devious wink, that only hinted at her plans with Tom.
