Drink

"I think, I will have that drink, Mrs. Foreman," I said. She smiled and walked into the kitchen. A couple of minutes later, she came back, carrying two glasses of lemonade.

I was really thirsty, because I quickly drained the glass in about a minute. "That was good. Thank you," I told her.

We sat down on the couches and began to talk. After a few minutes, I realized something. She was in the middle of a sentence, when I interrupted. "I'm sorry for interrupting, but I think I need to take a shower."

She looked at me closely. "The bathroom is just down the hall. But do you want a shower or to go swimming? There is a pool in the back, even though the ocean is only a short distance away."

The pool sounded great, but I also knew I needed a shower.
