Dream is working against her

Lauren's pride and insecurity were having a bitter battle inside her. She was a storm of emotions: humiliation, shame, anger, and bitterness were all swirling in her head as the entire restaurant laughed at her. How dare they! This was HER dream dammit, and she wanted to feel sexy in it! She was trying desperately to maintain control of the dream.

Unfortunately for Lauren, her subconscious had different plans for her. Her insecurities and buried issues were going to make this dream as embarrassing as possible for her. That was why everyone was being so mocking and unimpressed by her figure. It was also why her appearance kept shifting, her flaws increasing as her own mind worked against her.

Lauren looked at the quarter the guys had left for her tip and made a vow to herself. She was going to use her sex appeal and make sure she got the biggest tips ever from the rest of these tables! That would prove she was sexy once and for all! In a huff she turned and marched back towards the kitchen to get the next order...
