Double team

Usually, this fight is just back and forth baby hits, but you have a different idea.

"Use Scratch!" You pick up Charmander and throw it in Ash's face.

Ash screams in surprise and pain. Bulbasaur is lost without commands, and you take advantage by kicking it over and stomping on its underbelly.

Ash manages to pull Charmander off his face and throw it to the ground. Charmander lands deftly and scurries back to your side. Seeing the state of his pokemon, Ash cries, "Bulbasaur return!" A red beam shoots out and envelops the grass type, bringing him back to his ball.

Ash stomps up to you and shouts, "What was that about, that's not how pokemon battles go!"

"It's how the pros do it." You scoff, "Honestly, you expect to go into battle and leave all the fighting to your pokemon? Real trainers fight IN their battles." You bring Charmander back to his ball and walk to the exit, leaving no time for rebuttal. Before leaving, you can't help but include Blue's signature sign off, "Smell ya later!" You slam the door, leaving Ash to gripe to Oak.
