Dr. Marque - as he prefers to be called - is the son of Lady Quintera Marque-Aria and Admiral Marque (retired) of the Imperial Navy. He is 8th in succession to the throne of Aria but has no burning desire to sit on the planetary seat. The Doctor served 4 honorable if undistinguished terms in the Imperial Navy Medical Corps retiring with the rank of Lt. Commander. His promotions were undoubtedly the result of his family's influence, but despite that he is both a competent doctor and astute administrator.

Once retired from the Navy, Dr. Marque became the chief administrator of Aria General Hospital where he has worked for the past four years. He has in that time become a little bored with the mundane day-to-day operation of the Hospital and the challenges of successfully avoiding matchmaking attempts of his mother. This is no easy task, because in addition to his position and ability, he is quite good looking, in fact he has been for the past three years voted Aria's most eligible bachelor.

Widdom IV is a Rim Planet in the Spinward reaches. Although Earl of this planet, he has visited the remote location only three times and leaves its administration to the Stewards that have managed its population and resources for the past three generations.
