Divide

Temperatures begin to drop as rain pours down. In front of them is the Faala Mountain Range. Separating the North from the rest of the continent. Head East to sea you deal with the militia. West and you may not live to see the end of the continent. The only directions are to go through the vast tunnel system built millenniums ago by early ancestors of the land or go over them. Trouble about going over them with an airship is basic chemistry. Higher you go the colder it gets and the higher chance of it freezing leading to ****.

The biggest advantage of the Faala Mountain range though is the Pinnocks can’t see in them. Downside to that is Queen Lula’s troops border the mountains. Once you get over them you still have to deal with a group who hates outsiders. A blow to anyone wanting to get to the other side.

Kato looks over ancient maps of the mountains in her study with the crew. “What’s the seers saying?” She asks openly to anyone who can answer.

“Wrong way is all they say?” Emmett curses after saying that knowing the pain those seers have caused since they bordered them.

“James with all the cargo down below. Think we can go east?” Kato asks him.

Scratching his head “Not with the seers on board. They inspect at the border.”

“What if…” Ada says but is cut off.

“We split up” Elena says to the group “James, Ada and I go east, while the rest of you head through the mountains.”

“Fat chance with that!” Emmett yells refusing such an audacious option.

“No, she’s right it may be our only option” Kato moves her hand around the map of the tunnels “With the Seers in the mountains we may have a chance of getting onto the other side.”

“Agree!” Ada motions in favor of the idea as others in the room agree as well.

Kato, Emmett, and three Seers toward the mountains. James, Ada, and Elena take the ship east bound toward the militia in hopes of crossing over with cargo down below to satisfy the daunting trip through.

“We will see you in a couple weeks!” James yells as Kato heads down to the ground. Shutting the portal hole and nodding toward Elena to move the ship.
