Chapter 8 by The-Drunken-Bandit The-Drunken-Bandit

Where do you start?

Disney

As your new intern begins to recover from her sudden shock at that amount of benefits she’s going to gain from working for you, even if it’s just temporarily, your mind immediately comes to the conclusion that you’re going to need to show Elodie so the most nonsensical parts of the multiverse in order to convince her.

Luckily for you, you know exactly where to go!

So as soon as you return to your command chair, you immediately begin to type up the commands in your central computer to bring up the section of the multi-verse that falls underneath the tagline of Disney. However, as you do this, you notice that a great deal of the worlds within Disney have been excluded from the temporal reset. This is quite alarming and a great cause for concern, since you have most likely lost the element of surprise in the worlds that have ignored the reset and as such your going to have to investigate the cause for why they have ignored the rest.

However, with that said you can’t ignore the fact that your going to need to show Elodie some of the most messed up parts of the multi-verse to convince her to stay on permanently. So, you begin to search to the Disney multi-verse with two main concerns in mind, those concerns being the worlds that have either ignored the reset or the worlds that have severe societal and or villainess issues.

As you immediately come up with three of these possible worlds, you can see that Elodie has recovered from her initial shock and is walked over to your side to see what you’re doing at your central command computer.

1. Motorcity: Oh my god… What the hell has happened to Detroit city?! When you last left it was nothing like this… This… This cyberpunk-ian madhouse that you now see! This world has most obviously ignored the temporal reset and though while it may look like it may be for the better on the exterior, it is only when you dig deeper that you discover that it is all a lie.

As you stare slack-jawed at the new rebuilt Detroit deluxe, you can hear Elodie comment at the clean pharmaceutical white city of tomorrow.

“Amazing…” Elodie whispers out as she stares at the city, completely unaware of the additional information that you now have at your disposal telling you that the current city that she sees is simply built on top of the dregs of the old city.

2. The Replacements: Okay this is certainly odd, but certainly not unwelcome. For while this world may have ignored the temporal reset, it may have been for the best as thanks to this world ignoring the temporal reset you still retain a great deal of your political and monetary pull in it.

You say this because you helped develop and create this worlds largest and most powerful company Flem Co., but still, you questioned yourself why this world has ignored the temporal reset?

As you contemplate this thought, you hear Elodie comment at the sight of something that is both troubling and interesting.

“Is… Is that an ad advocating for a phone service to replace people?” Elodie asks incredulously as she points at an ad in the back of a Flem Co. comic book!

3. Kim possible: Okay this world would definitely be a good starting point for Elodie as it is both filled with both out-of-control villains and insanely incompetent world government agencies who failed to stop these idiots at every turn. That being said, you can already feel the migraine coming on from having to have to deal with arrogant superiority that comes from one Kimberly Ann possible.

As you sigh deeply to yourself and frustration as you look at the image of one Kimberly Ann possible you can hear Elodie comment off to the side as she stares at the rather idiotic villain that you had to deal with from time to time.

"Eugh... that man looks like he hasn't showered in weeks!" Elodie comments as she points out one Motor Ed.

4. Movies.
