Chapter 3 by The-Drunken-Bandit The-Drunken-Bandit

Where do you look?

Disney

Disney…

Good God, Disney has become an absolute monster these days as it's grown so damn large from its products, that you’re really concerned that it’s becoming a monopoly these days. Heck its already a monopoly considering how much influence and control that damn mouse has over the entire global market.

However, with that said Disney didn’t become such a titanic monster without making some pretty damn good shows and even today there still cranking out a lot of good animated TV shows for kids. You just wished that the mouse didn’t have so much control over the global economy and you also especially wished that Disney didn’t control Star Wars anymore.

You say this because Disney has become rather… Weird lately as it’s been trying to shove a certain ideology down the throats of its viewers. An ideology that most of the execs don’t really agree with as it costs them money, despite this the people in charge of certain series are still doubling down on this ideology and its getting to the point that you’re starting to question their mental sanity.

Shaking your head from these negative and rather troubling thoughts, you begin to think back on the many, many shows that Disney has produced throughout the years, and immediately, three shows come to mind.

1. Kim possible: Growing up Kim possible was one of the greatest shows Disney ever produced and you certainly enjoyed the hell out of it back when you were a kid. Though now as an adult you can help shake your head at the level of **** Kim showed Ron throughout the show, sure enough there are times when Kim intervenes in Ron’s life to help him, but there are other times where she just completely blows him off to do whatever she wants not caring about his feelings or his well being for that matter. Hell, when you look back, you distinctly remember a moment in time when Kim completely forgot about Ron and left him locked up in the janitors closet for an entire weekend, just so she could go on a stupid date with a boy. The worst part about it was that Kim never even checked back in on Ron to see if he got out of the janitors closet, which he did when the school janitor opened the door on Monday morning. Regardless show is filled with action adventure, so it’s at least worth a good rewatch.

2. Gargoyles: Gargoyles was perhaps one of the best animated shows ever created by Disney, and it shows throughout the entire plot lines of the entire series. Though your memory is rather fuzzy on some of the details, so it’s definitely worth the, rewatch if only to refresh your memories.

3. Star vs. the forces of evil: One of the newer shows created by Disney and also one of the few shows that has been infected by the ideology that Disney has been trying to shut down the throats of kids. You say this because star versus the forces of evil has one major flaw, that flaw being that the main character Star butterfly is kind of a Mary Sue. Sure enough, Star gets her comeuppance every now and then, but most the time she usually gets off scot-free and her unfortunate “best friend” Marco Diaz has to pick up the pieces and pay for the damages. Sigh… It’s a good show, but it has some severe problems, shows only just recently finished, but it worth a rewatch at the very least.

#: look elsewhere.

Which do you pick?
