Dinner

"Oh, yeah, sure." Sam said, swimming across to the edge and pulling himself out as James handed him a towel.

"Okay, I see what you mean about Phina." James tells him with a grin. "She was definitely after something more than some lotion on her back."

Sam blushed at the comments as he quickly dried his hair. "Tell me about it." Sam moaned a little, the two of them heading back into the house. "I have no idea what to do about it either."

"Just have some fun Sammy." James tells him with a grin as the pair of them join the others at the dinner table, Mike and Emma serving out the food.

Half way through dinner Emma dropped the next bombshell. "Oh, Mike, while Sam and I were at the hyper market earlier we ran into my old friend, Monica, you know the one who moved out here a couple of years ago."

Mike looked up at her confused for a moment, but then sighed. "Yeah, I guess. What of it?"

Emma casts a glance across at Sam to check his reactions, before turning back to her husband. "Oh, she invited you and I over to visit her and her husband this evening. Maybe play a little bridge?"

Mike scowled at her. "Bridge? You know I can't fucking stand that game. I'm just gonna stay here and watch the football."

"Oh I forgot there was a game on." James chimes in, trying to cut the tension and failing.

"Do you mind if I go honey?" Emma asks, looking as innocent as possible.

Mike seems to think for a moment. "If it stops you bugging me during the match then go for it."

"Oh thank you so much." Emma replies, with a smile before looking across at Sam. "Did you want to come along? You could make up the numbers and you seemed to get on okay earlier?"
