What's her reward
Dinner
The warrior chuckled, "It's okay, little guy. You already got me dinner." She drew her sword letting the blood flow from the head wound.
"Well, in that case, allow me to cook it for you. My grandmother left behind a great recipe for ham." True. In her day, Grandma Dura was the best poisoner in the tribe.
"Hm, Granny Goblin's home cooking? Alright, let's see if you're better at cooking than killing."
Kazex quickly stripped the skin from the meat and prepared it for the fire the girl set up. He then left her to turn it while he collected herbs and such. He prepared a special honey glaze to give the meat a sweet taste and potent drug. Coming back, Kazex droozled his concoction over the fire and watched the ham absorb it.
The sweat on the meat signaled it had finished cooking. The human could eat; she put away a hind leg and a rack of ribs. She remarked on Kazex' odd choice of meats. Indeed, his preference for the head was only partially influenced by it being the only part not fused with drugs. Still, she seemed satisfied that he wouldn't take any of her preferred meats.
