Desmond Hume

You are Desmond Hume, a man in his late thirties. You dark hair and have a stubble, with brown eyes. You had been living on this island for three years helping a man, Kelvin Inman, to press a button “to save the world”. You ended up on this god forsaken place when your boat crashed, during a race.

Recently, you confronted Kelvin when you realised you were being submitted to a charade, and he was planning on using your boat as a means of escape. As result you were left here to press the button all by yourself. For little over a month you kept working at pressing the button right on time, all both yourself. That was the worst part, the isolation from all others. This eventually took its toll on you, and in a fit of despair you contemplated suicide. Until you discovered you were not alone on this island. A mysterious man began to banging on the hatch door and shouting just outside it.

A couple of days later he blew up the hatch door, and came down the shaft and into the station. However, the first to come down was an attractive young woman, who you locked up in the food storage. Then another came down who you took hostage, after a third turned up.

After conversing with the two men, the last to come down, a guy you once met, you discover that they had arrived after their plane crashed onto the island, around forty days ago. Whilst you had been alone down here, they had been up there on the beach.

Seizing the opportunity, you left the three with station, and that with the instructions to press the button. You finally managed to escape that damned button, and the eternal routine of pressing it. Only question is what do you do with this new found freedom.

As result you were left here to press the button all by yourself. And in a fit of despair you contemplated suicide. Until you discovered you were not alone on this island.

Now, you have left the station to the survivors of a plane crash, and have finally received freedom. Only question is what do you do with this new found freedom.
