Chapter 9 by hewhoismany

What is Derek's reaction?

Derek isn't really attracted to this version of Kristy, but Bonnie fixes that.

Doing his best to smile at the girl, he stammered out, "Oh, hey Kristy, I just wanted to talk to you about something. Could you wait here one moment though? I left the fridge door open." With that flimsy excuse in-progress, Derek sprinted away to see Bonnie. Her arched, perfectly contoured eyebrow made it clear that she wanted to know what he thought, so Derek told her. "What happened! She's completely different now, all short and chubby! I wanted her to look the same, just have nerdy interests!"

Clearly unhappy with that answer, Bonnie pouted. "Sorry Dere-bear, I'm not a mind-reader, you gotta be more specific, 'kay? But don't worry your pretty head about this, I can always fix this." Pulling out the silver coin, Derek prepared himself as she began using it once again. Unknown to him, her quick-fix solution was to think 'What if Derek found her attractive?'. The coin started glowing, but when both opened their eyes nothing looked to have changed, but Bonnie knew that was exactly what she wanted. "Head back out there, I fixed it for you, Derek." The young nerd couldn't see or here any hint of what exactly had been done against his will, so he left the room with a smile, excited to see what had been done.

Meeting Kristy at the door once more, he found she looked exactly the same as before, but any disappointment quickly evaporated as he saw her in a new light. Kristy's geeky appearance was adorable, and there was something about her clear naivety and curvy body that was now enticing, where it had once been bland and unremarkable. "So, uh, Kristy," Derek started, blushing as he gawked at her beauty. "I was wondering...would you like to hang out? As a date?" Blushing brightly herself, Kristy nodded, and Bonnie felt proud of her matchmaking.

What happens next?
