Dennis

The nursing robot floated in front of a pod labeled "Baby #30009485: DENNIS". In the pod floated a male human that one would register as being an 18 year old human male, completely hairless with a small umbilical cord and placenta absorbing nutrients from the fluids he is floating in. The Nursing robot's many eyes switched and blinked, observing the label and the data it presenting to it, telling it that Baby #30009485 has reached the end of its incubation period.

The Nursing Robot plugged one of its tentacles into a socket below the label, uploading commons into the system. The soft underbelly of the pod began to tremble, before suddenly the synthetic tissue instantly broke. The amniotic fluid flooded out on the pod where it drained through the floor, leaving Dennis on his back, dazed and sticky from the fluid, his soft-skinned limbs twitched, his eyes drowsy and sensitive.

The Nursery Robot observed the "baby" boy for a few second before one of its tentacle grabbed the umbilical cords and swiftly cut it right off. Dennis squirmed a little from the sudden sensation, and before he could cry out, another tentacle from the robot popped into his mouth, the nipple as the tip pumping a nutritional formula into his mouth where he sucked on it greedily. As Dennis' attention was occupied, the Nursery Robot used three of its other tentacles to tend to his other needs. It applied a clip to what was left of his umbilical cord as the two other tentacles cleaned off the fluid from his butt and uncircumcised penis. It unwrapped a large white diaper and placed it under his butt where it proceeded to strap it onto the newborn. It stamped a barcode onto the front of his diaper with his number above it as it removed the feeding tentacle from his mouth and replaced it with a large pacifier.

A bassinet that was just Dennis' size floated into the room - having been notified by the central computer to do so - where the Nursing Bot placed him in as he fell back asleep. The pod Dennis was just born from began to refill with fluid, the sensitive artificial tissue that broke having already reformed, for the next unborn baby to incubate.
