Day 3

Nick spent the next morning by himself, after waking up, he went to grab breakfast and sat by himself. Emily was confused, and a little disappointed. She stood up from her seat and walked over to Nick.

"Hey, Nick, you alright?" asked Emily

"I'm fine, just didn't get much sleep" said Nick

"Why are you sitting by yourself?" asked Emily

"I just felt like eating alone" said Nick

"Oh, okay, well, how about later, we talk about some stuff for the calendar?" asked Emily

"Actually, Emily, I've already gotten a lot of photos for the calendar, and we still have plenty of time on the cruise, so I was gonna use today to take a bit of a break, I'll get some more photos tomorrow" said Nick

"Um, alright, well, you know where to find me if you want to talk about anything" said Emily, before returning to her table

After breakfast, Nick wandered the ship to find something to keep himself busy. He walked into an arcade, where he found Jonah.

"Ah, photo boy" said Jonah

After what he said last night, Nick couldn't see Jonah as anything other than the worst possible excuse for a human. When Jonah basically admitted he was only with Emily to sleep with her and then dump her, it took every ounce of self control that Nick had not to beat him to a pulp. Nick wasn't sure he would be able to muster up that kind of willpower again.

"So, I see you took my advice about staying away from my girl, I guess there is a brain in that head of yours" said Jonah

Jonah walked over to Nick with a smile on his face.

"Since it seems that you are capable of following basic instructions, I feel like you and I could actually be friends" said Jonah

'Doubtful, I would never be able to be friends with someone like you' thought Nick

"So, what do you say? Put 'er there, pal" said Jonah, holding out his hand for a handshake

Nick looked down at Jonah's offered hand, and put his own hands behind his back, Jonah gave out a slight chuckle and dropped his hand.

"Oh, I get it, I was a bit too hard on you last night, that's understandable, it's just...as an alpha male, I need to protect what's mine, no hard feelings, but I get if you have trouble trusting me, so, how about this, how about we hang out for a bit, get to know eachother a little more, I was just about to head to the casino, care to join me?" asked Jonah

Nick raised an eyebrow, he didn't want to spend any time with Jonah, but he remembered that the ship croupier was on Meredith's list.

"Alright" said Nick

"Great, let's go" said Jonah
