David thinks Lauren someone else

"You don't recognize her?" Vanessa asked, enjoying Lauren's humiliation before the cool and very attractive David.

"Should I? She looks kind of like Lauren..." David said. Lauren squirmed under her scrutiny, trying to look away to avoid him figuring her out. 'Please please please don't recognize me!" She thought.

"Oh, this is our cousin, Little Laura!" Vanessa said, putting her arm over Lauren's shoulder. "Say hi to David Lil' Laura!"

Lauren looked to her sister in confusion. What was going on?

"Ohh, she's so shy." Vanessa explained.

"That's okay." David put on a soft voice and addressed Lauren, or 'Lil Laura' as she was for some reason being called. What was her sister's game she wondered. Whatever it was, Lauren had a feeling it would end in her embarrassment.

"Hi Laura! I know your older cousins Lauren and Vanessa." David said. "You sure look a lot like Lauren!"

"Uh... thanks..." Lauren said, feeling strange confusion at being compared to herself.

"Maybe when you're older, you'll be as pretty as her!" David said. On one hand, Lauren was happy to hear David call her pretty... only he didn't know she was Lauren!
