Dance and drinks

"Sure" you said, "you want to go to the pub again?"

"No, let's find somewhere else. Like a real club or something" Rose said.

"Whatever you want" you said with a nod, smiling as you took the next turn towards the city centre. A little over twenty minutes later you parked at Mister Steve's, a club that had a pretty good reputation, even though it was as expensive as it was good. Still, you didn't go out that often and for a date it would suit just fine. With Rose on your arm you walked in after parking, paid the cover fee, and went onto the dance floor immediately.

"Oh, I like this song" Rose said, smiling as you danced with her. She was having a lot of fun, you could tell. Seeing Rose enjoy herself made you happy too, so you danced away for over an hour until you could barely stand on your feet any more.

"I need a drink before I fall over" you said, "you want something?"

"I'll come with" Rose said as she took your arm and followed you as you made your way through the crowd, clearing the way like the bow of a ship. When you got to the bar you manoeuvred Rose in front of you so that her pretty face would get you your drinks faster. In the press, you were pushed up against her, your groin pushing into her back. If she felt anything she gave no hint of it.

"I'll have a Malibu Sunset" Rose yelled at the bartender. "What will you have?" she asked, looking over her shoulder.

"A Bushwacker will do" you said. A little later the two of you made your way to the seating area where you found a nice place to sit. As you enjoyed your drinks Rose smiled at you.

"I'm having a lot of fun" she told you. She had to lean close because of the music, her lips close to your ear.

"Me too" you said as you turned to look at her, then found yourself, quite literally, face to face with her.

"Hi" she whispered.

"Hi" you said, leaning in slowly. Rose did the same and in a second or two your lips met, sending a jolt of excitement running through you.

"I like the taste of Bushwacker" Rose whispered to you, smiling.

"I like the taste of you" you replied, putting your drink aside and pulling her into your lap. The brunette let out a soft squeal before putting her arms around you loosely, resting her upper arms on your shoulders.

"You are such a charmer" Rose said, smiling. "You know, I've had a crush on you ever since Dawn joined the team and you came to cheer her on at her first match."

"Yeah? For that long, huh?" you asked.

"Yeah. It's a long time to hold a crush but now..." she said, trailing off.

"But now what, Rose?" you asked with a smile.

"Now you're mine" she said, smiling too, far more broadly than you had.

"Oh really?" you said, grinning. "You seem awfully sure of yourself."

Rose nipped at your lower lip and grinned as she pulled away. "I know you are mine because you kissed back."

"That might just mean I want to get laid" you pointed out.

"You would've taken Aria up on her offer if that was your plan. She would have put out faster than you could ask her" Rose said with a measure of disgust clear in her voice.

"Maybe she's not my type?" you suggested.

"That means I am, hm?" Rose teased.

"Well, we've talked about this" you said.

"So we have" she nodded, smiling. "Want to get back on the dance floor?"

"Can I finish my drink first?" you asked.

"Well, no, because if we're not dancing, we're going to be making out, mister" Rose told you.

"Then who am I to finish my drink?" you said, grinning and kissing her again. You put down your drink and put your hands on her sides as you did so, as if to keep her in place, though you doubted she'd want to leave. With a grin she pulled away and licked your lips.

"I know asking you to leave with me now would make me a hypocrite, so I won't" Rose said.

"But?" you asked, knowing there was one.

"But make out with me some more while you feel me up a little" she finished with a wink.
