Chapter 5 by Veiled Veiled

You head home

Dan’s first visit

You returned home with Katie. On the way home, you had to laugh at the contrived coincidence. You knew one person in the house from the past, and Katie knew the other. Small world. “So this Dan guy was really your volleyball coach? He doesn’t really seem like a pillar of athleticism.” You quipped. Katie laughed. “Well, he was always a little on the husky side, but believe it or not he actually was a pretty good coach.” She assured you. You shrugged. “That’s cool, so you guys got along then?” You asked her, remembering her mixed reaction when she first saw him. She paused and thought before answering.

“Well, mostly. Sometimes we disagreed on things, and- honestly he could be pretty hard on us when he felt like we needed to be disciplined.” She said. You raised a surprised eyebrow. Katie was so mild mannered and easy to get along with now, that it was hard to imagine her being anything less than a team player. “Hmm. Well, I guess that’s sort of what coaches are supposed to do… I hope he wasn’t mean about it though.” You offered. “No, not mean. Just very, um- hands on.” She said vaguely after some hesitation, looking off into the distance for a moment. “But I think he brought the best out of me. I was like the star of the team, and my parents were sooo proud of me. So- I didn’t really mind if he had to… whip me into shape a little.” She said slowly. You nodded, understanding. “Damn- I never realized I married a pro athlete” you teased, and she giggled and playfully punched your arm. “Shut up” she said.

A couple days passed, things quiet and peaceful around the house. You’d been fairly busy with work lately, but there was still time in the evening to cuddle up with Katie to watch bullshit on Netflix after dinner. Even if some days you were so tired you’d just end up passing out on the couch. One fateful evening, though, there was a knock on the front door. You offered to get it, and came face to face with Katie’s old coach Dan. It was a short walk from his place to yours, and yet somehow the man still seemed to reek of body odor. You **** a polite smile anyway. “Hi Dan, how’s it going?” You asked, being hospitable. “Hi, uh, Phillip, right?” He asked, forgetting your name. You **** another smile. “Close! Dylan.” You told him. He nodded emphatically. “Right, right- well, I was just wanting to pop in and say hi to Katie and maybe have a first look around your home.” He said, making a point of glancing around behind you. “Seems like you have a nice place!” He said, though he could clearly see very little of the actual house. Despite finding the man gross and a bit rude for coming over unannounced, you stepped aside and let him in anyway.

When he stepped into the living room with Katie, she looked up and smiled. “Heyyyy!” She said, hurrying over and hugging him. He gave her a very strong hug, pulling her body tightly against his. As they started to part, you saw Dan’s hands slide down her back and feel her ass before he pulled away. You saw Katie’s eyes widen and she blinked but said nothing. The silence was swiftly broken when Dan looked around and said “Wow, you really did well for yourself Katie! This place is beautiful!” He said, falling back on effusive praise once again. Katie smiled and nodded. “Thank you, we like this place a lot.” She said, glancing over at you. Dan slumped his overweight form onto the couch with a sigh. “I like the layout of my new place, but- well, the past owner had some unusual ideas about decoration. I sort of want to redo the place, but I don’t really know enough about interior design…” he said, heaving another exaggerated sigh and giving Katie a pitiful look. Katie fidgeted for a moment, looking down at the sorry older man with a heart condition who had once been her coach. “Well… I’m not really an expert with that stuff, but- I’m happy to come over and have a look if you want.” She offered, seeming uncertain. But Dan pounced at the opportunity.

“Oh, Katie, that would be so nice of you.” He gushed, reached up and patting her arm appreciatively. She smiled and looked at her feet. “Well… it’s the least I can do to make up for all the years you put up with us rowdy teen girls.” Katie joked, and you smiled. Dan laughed uproariously. “Hey- I’ll take it. If it means I get to see a little more of you, I’ll take it.” He said. “Can I get you something to drink before you head out?” Katie asked. “Oh just a water. Thank you.” He said, but as Katie walked out of the room, you saw his head turn to follow her as she walked out of the room. He licked his lips before he seemed to remember you were in the room. He quickly turned to face you. “You married such a nice girl. An old man like me can really use her help.” He said with a grin. “Thank you for letting me borrow her.”

You didn’t like that grin
