Dad is awake

you hear heavy steps come down the stairs. Is dad awake? but he never gets up this early! the sound of the Bowl must have woken him.

you freeze for a second, not sure how to handle this. just as you're about to try and run for cover, his head bocomes visible.

He stops on the last step, staring at you with a weird look inhis eyes, almost as if he'd seen a ghost. for a few seconds he just stands like that, staring at your body. It feels like an eternity before he finally moved again, still looking at you as he rounds the table.
