When her father is killed in a hit and run believed to have been ordered by one of the city's biggest crime bosses, Ellen - her faith in the justice system shaken after discovering corruption within the police department and the office where her father once formally served - decides to avenge his death by leading a double life as THE DOMINO LADY! - a crime-fighting vigilantess clad in a white, backless halter dress and a black domino mask - who battles crime & injustice armed with only her wits & agility, a .45 pistol, a syringe of knockout serum, and - her most deadliest weapon of all - sex appeal!
As the Domino Lady, she punishes, kills (only if she has to) and steals from gangs - donating most of the profits to charity while keeping a small cut for herself - while like most pulp heroes around this time, leaving a calling card. Her's reading: "Compliments of the Domino Lady".
