"I don't know this terrain all to well but there should be plenty in the forest this time of year." I shrugged. I would probably have the best luck if I followed the river. Sooner or later one would come for a drink. I would need to get new arrows until I could make my own.

"Bucks only. I suppose you will need a horse. That's a long way to carry a buck back on foot. I will sell you the horse I loaned you for two silvers. She is getting to old to pull the wagon and I sure as hell can't sell her to the farmers to pull a plow or anything but she still has a few good years still left in her."

"Three silvers for the horse and the saddle and you let me keep him in your stable for the time being." I shrugged. Wasn't like I had any place to keep him.

"Seems fair." He nodded and I paid him three silver.
