I sighed as I watched you leave smiling and waving, you were soo cute and beautiful and I loved you a lot. The work I was doing has started to get really dangerous in the past few months, as I got further and further to making the project I also realised what the government wanted to use it for. Starting then I had made some contingency plans to make sure you were safe incase something happened to me.

Walking down to the basement I pushed opened the secret door behind a cabinet and walked up to one fully operational time machine. It was a cylindrical cabin which you'd have to stand in. Kinda reminded me of the Captain America buff chamber. I chuckled as I was now living in a science fiction movie. Opening the computer next to it I typed in a date. The most important of my life, the day you were born. It was a rather messy day and I was kinda devastated about your mother leaving us but I knew things would be alright with you. Just as I was about to shut the machine down I heard cars pulling in over the driveway. I knew this was it. I quickly pulled back from the secret room making sure it was fully hidden and walked out. I had now way to run away from this and make sure you'd be safe instead I sat down by the study table and started writing a letter to you in my diary. My contingency plan was my diary. It had everything you needed to know about my project and my plans. I knew you could figure out from the way I wrote my diary. It was all in poems except the last letter. "Honey ! I'm sorry I tried to make things right I tried to make sure things wouldn't go bad but it's too late now and I have to go. Promise me to stay safe and take care of yourself. All the poems in my diary are for you to keep me in your memories. I know you'll be a strong independent woman. Daddy is soo proud of you !"

It was all I could write as the men in black suits burst into my house and rummaged their way down to the basement. Turning around and keeping the diary on the table I sat facing the door. They had guns pointed at me as they entered "Time to go Mr King" I nodded and simply got up as they cuffed me and quickly lead me out of the house. I feared I was about to be killed by they were taking me somewhere. After what I did destroying all the research so it wouldn't be used to take control of the world I feared the worst.

The men made the whole thing look like a burglary attempt erasing our security cam footage and making a mess of the whole place. The diary was thrown to a side too but it wasn't destroyed, they wanted to find some research on the time Machine but nothing was there and they had orders to go back with me.

I was lucky about two things, they didn't want you and they didn't find the secret room, under the hood I was a sad mess hoping someone would take care of you. I remembered our promise to spend time with each other and sighed hoping you'd find your way through the darkness.
