Continue to the Adventurer's Guild.

After that interesting experience, you follow Niki a few blocks farther before finally coming to a stunningly grand structure labelled with, "Adventurer's Guild". It really is just like something right out of a game you've played. Though, you are still curious, so you lean over to ask her a question.

"So how exactly does this place work?"

"Oh. That's easy. People from all around send in problems they have, and the Guild keeps a record of them. It's an easy way for adventurers like us to find issues to solve. You get all sorts in there. Some do it for money, some for fame, and others just to grow their own power. For me, I just want a good adventure, though some money wouldn't hurt either. That's how I keep my belly full. And right now, I'm pretty much broke!" She laughs.

That isn't funny. We're both going to starve.

"So, we should probably look for a couple other people in there, right? I can use a sword, even if I don't exactly have one right now. You're good with your shield and mace. We should probably get a sorcerer of some sort, and somebody who can heal. That's typically how it works."

She looks shocked. "Wow. That's a brilliant idea. I was just going to look for more people like me."

"Th-Thanks." I don't think I deserve praise for that.

You step inside. On the other side of the room, there's a few windows leading into another area, much like a bank. A person is currently standing on the other side of one of them, and no customers are up there. The only ones you see are sitting amongst the various tables, chatting and laughing. It isn't a tavern, but this must be where people go to find groups. It's the perfect place to look.

"This is a little intimidating. These all look like experienced dudes. If I approach one to ask like I am now, they'll just laugh," you say.

Niki nudges you with her elbow. "Leave it to me. I'll let the receptionist know I found a second. See, they help you find groups here too. They put the word out. Then, I'll ask around. Leave it to me, Kyle."

"Hey, thanks. That's really nice of you. I'll just go grab a seat, I suppose."
