Continue to be kind to her.

"Even that's okay, Mom," you say and you reach over to hug her. "I'm okay with being a girl. It took me a bit to get used to it, but I'm all right with it now."

She buries her head in your shoulder and cries. "You're so good to me, Parker. I don't know what I did to deserve you."

The two of you clinch in a tight hug. "I forgive you, Mom," you say. She gives an audible sigh of relief. "I'm glad we had this talk. I feel a lot better and I hope you do too."

"Oh, I do. Thank you very much, Parker. Well, I should let you go. I'm sure you have a lot of things to do and a lot on your mind. I'll see you at dinner," she says and she walks out the door.
