With a bit of speculating about what happened, Serris decided she'd almost certainly been looted and left for dead. She didn't think she could trust her computer, and consequently didn't even know if there was pressure outside her bedroom. If there wasn't, she'd have to put on her older spare space suit and maybe live in it till she could get some replacement atmosphere. Too bad she had a habit of leaving her newer helmet in the cockpit.

Serris ran a diagnostic on her communications systems, and no errors were found. "So far so good." She said to herself. She typed up a distress message on her console, and sent it out through all possible channels and formats. "That'll draw attention at least."

She set her systems to self-diagnose everything else, and decided there was no more reason to continue procrastinating on cleaning her suit. She dabbed the inside dry, making sure it was clean as she could get it with only dry towels.

Diagnostics completed, everything came up normal, save for reserve power. The ship probably just put in the last power rod. She shut down almost everything, leaving communication receivers on, and setting life support to shut off while she took another long nap in the chamber. She decided to wait a week for a response. If she received communication she'd be awoken earlier, but for now, she slipped back into the chamber, hoping she'd wake up to a response.
