Confronting Monika

Tom and Lindsey both reached the Literature Club which was now empty save for Monika.

"Okay, Monika, what the fuck is going on?" asked Tom.

"Monika doesn't exist" said Monika, "I am a piece of Ora. I wanted to see what it was like to be human so I inserted myself into a CHYOA story called Cursed Punishment. That is the universe you're in"

"What? How entire lives are a fiction on some erotica website?" said Tom, "that's absurd"

"Its true" said Monika, "I was hoping to get rid of you so I could be the main character. Unfortunately, Unknown7 doesn't want that"

"Unknown7?"

"She's one of the authors of Cursed Punishment, particularly the branch you exist on, though I'm sure that Google2020 will add onto this path at some point"

"And Sayori?"

"She was never real. She was just a character ripped off of Doki Doki Literature Club" said Monika, "hell, so was I. Unknown7 couldn't resist. Listen to me, I love you"

"You think I'd want anything do with you after the hell you put me, Lindsey and Susan through?" asked Tom.

"I wasn't talking to you or Lindsey" said Monika, "I was talking to the reader. You see, he or she is the only person who is actually real. Everything you have to say is written by Unknown7"
