Climbing down

Lauren couldn’t stay out on the balcony until morning. It was freezing and she’d get eaten alive by mosquitoes, not to mention the chances that she would be seen by someone. Looking at the storm drain, Lauren knew that she was going to half to climb down it anyway. So, she decided to cut out the middle man and just climb down the pipeline, where hopefully fewer people would see her.

Lauren climbed up onto the railing as she tried to keep her balance, which was not an easy feat for her while she was drunk. Miraculously, the small woman managed to keep her balance long enough to reach out for the storm drain. Lauren grabbed the drain with one hand before wrapping her other arm and both her legs around the pipe, shimmying down it like a fireman on the pole.

As Lauren reached the halfway point, she felt a tug on her leotard. Looking down, the twenty-year-old saw that one of the arm straps of her leotard was caught on a loose screw on the pipe. In her drunken state, Lauren carefully tugged at the leotard in an attempt to get loose.

Suddenly, Lauren lost her footing and fell the remaining few feet into the bushes below, her loud scream drowning out the sound of ripping as she fell. Groaning, Lauren staggered out of the bushes as she rubbed her head and looked up at the storm drain. She tilted her head in confusion as she saw a tattered, white fabric hanging from where she fell, waving like a flag in the evening breeze.

It was funny. It almost looked like her…

Eyes going wide, Lauren looked down at herself. She let out a shriek as she discovered that that was her leotard hanging from the storm drain, and she was now standing outside of her apartment building in only a diaper! Lauren wrapped her arms around her chest, her face going neon red as she began to hyperventilate.

“My goodness!” a voice from behind her gasped. Lauren froze, her face going pale. She may have been drunk, but she was sober enough to realize too late that her screaming would have definitely drawn the attention of her neighbors. Lauren gulped nervously as she looked over her shoulder to the owner of the voice that caught her.
