Chapter 31 by Almax Almax

Easy victory, you didn't even have to do anything.

Class comes to an end!

The bell rings, meaning that class is over now. You're technically allowed to stay in your armour and keep your weapons out, but the people who want to can go to the change rooms and get back into their normal uniforms in the minutes between classes. Most of your class wants to go change, and even though you kind of want {if@ Weapon == 2}to carry your Sledgeaxe around all day{elseif Weapon == 1}to keep your batons on you all day and click them on and off sporadically{elseif Weapon == 3}pepperbox in your hand all day because it makes you feel really cool{endif}, you decide to join them and end up putting everything back into your case. Actually, even Lexi got changed, which surprised you a lot. Professor Phoebe says goodbye to your class and gives you a kiss on the forehead as you leave, brushing your lap with her hand by accident, but you totally forgive her because that kind of thing happens all the time. Like when people get confused about mice, even though they're not dirty at all, as an example just off the top of your head.

Classes from here on operate the normal way, which means your timetable is two classes, lunch, and then one more class before the day's over. Your other class this morning is Monster Theory with Professor Ben again. This time it goes way better for you, though, so that's really nice!

He spends the whole class on Giants, going over their anatomy and strategies to use when fighting them. You don't really pay that much attention, but it's only because you're gonna be a natural Warrior anyway! You'll just figure it out on the spot if you ever need to. Besides, it's way more fun to daydream about yourself fighting them in more cinematic ways than he's talking with your new equipment. Paying attention's never really been your thing, but is it your fault that some things are really boring? Didn't think so!

Anyway, the class comes to an end. All that you have to show for it is the first two sentences of notes that you didn't finsih and a little drawing of a snail under them. It was supposed to be a clock, because that was what was in the room for inspiration, but your circle turned out a bit wonky and you were drawing in pen so you couldn't fix it and just made it a snail instead. It's cute and small!

Through the whole class, during pauses in her own (intensive) notes, Miranda kept glancing over at you from the desk just to your left for some reason. She didn't make it as sneaky as she might've thought it was, but then maybe it wasn't supposed to be sneaky at all, since she's a total stealth guru with how good she is at being quiet. Anyway, you can ask her about it later. For now, it's lunch time!

You're hungies, bro. That can't stand.
