Chores are finished and Michelle presents Lauren’s outfit

When Lauren and Vanessa finished their chores outside, they headed inside and completed the chores inside, vacuuming and cleaning the house. Michelle met her friend outside while Lauren was distracted and took the lingerie set, before heading back upstairs but not before paying Triss generously and thanking her many times.

Finally, Lauren and Vanessa finished the chores at 5 PM. Lauren reluctantly waited for Michelle to give her something to wear, wondering what it would end up being. Michelle walked into the living room where Lauren and Vanessa were waiting with each other.

Michelle smiled and said. “Lauren, I really hope you’ve learned your lesson these past few days. I hope you’ve learned not to be a bitch and to not take things without permission, and to always respect my wishes. Have you learned your lesson?”

“Yes, mom. I have learned my lesson. I promise not to go against your wishes, and I’m sorry for disrespecting you,” Lauren said.

“Good, I hope that’s the case because I have what you’re going go wear tonight. You can wear nothing else except what I give you, understand?” Michelle said.

“I understand,” Lauren said, gulping.

Michelle first gave Lauren the lingerie set, handing her the bra and panties.

Lauren gasped as she saw the set, tears forming in her eyes, not believing what she was seeing. “Mom,” Lauren said.

“Go on, put it on,” Michelle said. “I do hope you like it, it was very expensive.”

Lauren put on the bra and panties and smiled, flinging her arms around her mom’s neck. “Thank you so much,” she said.

“Let go of me, Lauren, or that’ll be the only thing you wear tonight,” Michelle said, not really meaning it.

Lauren blushed and let go of her mom, sitting back down. And gasped when her mom revealed the altered dress.

“Mom, oh my God!” Lauren said, trying not to cry. “But isn’t that your dress?”

“It’s yours now,” Michelle said. “I had to make some adjustments to accommodate for your size, but I think it’ll still look beautiful on you.”

Lauren put the dress on and held back tears, fanning her face with her hands. “Mom, I love it so much. Thank you. But... why? Weren’t you the one saying that you were glad boys didn’t like me and everything...”

“Lauren, I was mad at you. I felt angry that you lied to me and that you betrayed my trust and I needed to send you a message to never do something like that again. But now that I’ve had time to cool down, I’ve realized one thing that is more important than anything. You’re still my daughter. And I need to make sure that this night, is a special one for you. So as long as you don’t make me regret this decision, I want you to be happy tonight,” Michelle said, hugging Lauren tightly. “I love you, Lauren. And nothing you do can change that. I may get mad sometimes, but that doesn’t change my love for you. That applies to you too, Vanessa. Now, Lauren, tell me about your date, what’s he like?”

Lauren looks at her mom, tears already running down her face. But she took a deep breath. She could do this.
