"I want that one!" Chloe Moretz told the shop assistant as she pointed to an unusual and exotic looking ring that took pride of place in the store. Sure it was expensive, but she could easily afford it and sometimes it felt good to just treat herself.

What Chloe liked most about the ring was how eye catching it was. She felt sure the ring was bound to invite comment from just about anyone she came into contact with. She was right about that, but what she wasn't aware of was the ancient and inescapable curse she would bring upon herself as soon as she placed the ring on her finger.

"A perfect fit!" the saleswoman congratulated Chloe as she slipped it on. She then rang up the sale on her till to complete the transaction. Chloe left the store still blissfully aware of just how dramatically her life was about to change.
